33 weeks

I once got a really good piece of advice from a friend. Everyday get up get dressed and clean out the kitchen sink before 10 a.m. Well as you can imagine, getting dressed, getting out of bed, lets just say waking up at all takes a lot of work and a lot of energy. Precisely why I only do(ish) those things on appointment days :)

So our last appointment, Derek and I were expecting to go just as all the other one's had gone. "Everything looks good, see you in a week" well, we got a little surprise this week. We have the baby monitors strapped to my belly twice a week to monitor movement and heart rates. Ethan and Jackson passed with flying colors, but when it came time for Brinley to show us her moves, she refused. Steady heart rate, but no movement for almost an hour. We were sent to the hospital for continuous monitoring. We were told "best case scenario, you stay overnight. Worse case scenario, babies are delivered".  We were blessed with best case scenario! All three of them did great and we were sent home. Lesson Learned: Pack my bag or at least my toothbrush!

  2. Bri!! I have been wondering how you have been. I keep getting the update from Jolene. I'm glad you got to go home. I've only had my hospital bag packed once (1 for 3), and it was so nice to actually have just what I wanted--and not to have Sam guessing at home, over the phone, the size, shape, color, and location of the things I wanted.
Best wishes as you endure to the end! You guys are amazing!!
